My Favorite Dog Groomer in Loudoun County | Leesburg, Ashburn, Purcellville, Virginia

Dogs are man's best friend for a reason. They're loyal, loving, and always happy to see us. But every now and then they need regular maintenance to stay in top condition. That's where dog groomers come in. Whether your pooch needs a simple bath or a complete haircut, there's no shortage of qualified professionals who can take care of her. In fact, I've found my favorite dog groomer!

Canine Carousel is my go-to dog groomer in Loudoun County.

They are a Loudoun locally owned business that has been family owned and operated since 1977. Their goal is to provide the best care possible for the dogs and cats that come into the salon. In 2012 Canine Carousel expanded the business into a full-service Pet Spa Boutique, which now also carries retail pet supplies. Their “one-stop-shop” offers grooming, supplies, healthy treats and pet food products that are all natural & holistic with proper nutrition and supplements for your pet’s health and wellbeing.

My Bentley boy loved going there because of all the attention and love he got. The treat from their pet bakery didn’t hurt either. Captain and Ryder are still pups, but will go soon enough for their first grooming appointment.

This is my favorite dog groomer because they have a great reputation and always do a nice job. They are also really affordable, which I appreciate! If you need to get your pet groomed in the future, this place should be on your list of places to call first. As always, I am here to provide you everything you need to know in Loudoun County, give me a call, 703.728.4193, if you are looking to buy or sell in 2022!

My Favorite Things to Do in Purcellville, Virginia | Loudoun County, Virginia

Purcellville is home to new restaurants, BBQ joints, ice cream parlors, coffee bars, boutiques, thrift stores and even a world-renowned whisky distillery. The town is an excellent departure point for the wineries, breweries, farms and hiking trails of the surrounding countryside and mountains.

Whether you are a local Loudoun County resident or visiting the area, here is a list of things to do that you don’t want to miss!

Shopping is one of my favorite hobbies. Here are a few places to check out in Purcellville:

  1. Re-Love It is a consignment store with a truly high end boutique feel, with truly affordable consignment prices!

  2. Nostalgia Boutique offers vintage clothing, antique furniture and home décor.

Catoctin Creek Distilling Company is the first family owned distillery in Loudoun since before Prohibition. Certified organic and kosher, Catoctin Creek produces high quality spirits and liqueurs.

A few of my favorite places to grab a bite to eat:

  1. Magnolias offers an impressive selection of both beer and wine, including a good representation of Loudoun labels. Located at the end of the W&OD trail, cyclists can park their bikes in the restaurant’s bike rack and continue enjoying the outdoors from the enclosed deck or on the slate stone patio.

BKD Bagel Review | Leesburg, Virginia

I love bagels! I was so excited to try BKD Bagels, the newest and hottest bagel shop that recently opened in Downtown Leesburg. Along with using high-quality ingredients, the cooking process is just as vital to making the bagels a culinary experience. After making the dough, BKD does a slow, cold rise, so all the dough is refrigerated for at least 12 hours.

I ordered the Hangover Bagel as a nod to my sons who were home for Thanksgiving break. I was getting ready for work and they were coming home from a night out with friends!

The Hangover = a fluffy egg, melty cheese, a sausage patty and a crispy hash brown delicately placed in the middle of a perfectly toasted, hand rolled bagel of your choice. I chose jalapeno cheddar. The bagel had amazing flavor with a little kick to get my day started. I got 2 more Hangovers to take home for my boys...they needed them!

BKD Bagels is a family-owned business that offers many different bagel options and fresh Illy coffee on-site with free refills as well as nitro cold brew and a champagne bar upstairs. You can get your favorite breakfast with their assortment of flavors, including a GF bagel from the Difference Baker, or indulge in one of their breakfast pastries. They’re open 7 days a week 8a-2p, if they don’t sell out first! If you're looking for some fresh bagels and want to support a local business, let’s meet at BKD Bagels to chat all things real estate and Loudoun County. Call me to schedule something soon, 703.728.4193.
